In the first quarter of 2021, Australians showed a sustained interest in managing their finances through mobile applications. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive overview of the top personal finance apps based on downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Splitwise maintained a steady user base with weekly active users fluctuating around the 17K mark. The app experienced a peak in revenue at nearly $1K during the last week of January and downloads hovered around 3K per week throughout the quarter.

WeMoney: Pay off debt faster, despite not generating revenue, saw its downloads peak at over 3K in the second week of February, followed by a significant drop to under 1K by the end of March.

For MoneyBrilliant, an Australian-based app, revenue saw a significant spike reaching over $4K in the last week of January. Downloads remained relatively stable, starting at around 2.7K and dipping to just over 1.5K by the end of March.

Lastly, Fudget: Budget Planner Tracker displayed a revenue high of over $1K in the last week of January, with weekly active users remaining stable, ranging from 7K to 7.4K. Downloads started at 1.6K and saw a decline to 540 by the close of the quarter.
